Before the Wedding

When should we book my wedding photographer?

Book as early as possible, especially for the busy summer season. I am taking bookings for 2024 already and still have dates available for 2023.

What information do you need from us?

I will ask you lots of questions when booking and during our coffee chat. The basics are date and timing, venues. After that we will talk about your wedding styling, the style of photos you like and anything else that will help me get the best photos for you.

On the Day

When will you arrive?

I will arrive at the first location of the day a little early, unless its at the location of the bride for the “getting ready” shots when I will arrive at the agreed time.

I may go to some of the locations a few days before to get a feel for the shots which will help make the day more seamless.

What will you wear?

I will wear appropriate but comfortable clothes that will blend in with your wedding. Normally that would be long pants, a plain shirt and dress shoes. If you are having a black tie event let me know if you want me in black tie also. Or if you are a casual beach style wedding let me know and I will dress appropriately. Don’t worry I won’t turn up looking like an Aussie Bogan !

After the Wedding

How many photos will we get?

I shoot around 200 to 300 photos an hour, of course this includes multiple versions of the same scene. Typically I will give you 400 to 600 edited photos for a 4 hour wedding.

How long will it take to get our photos?

It depends on how many weddings and other sessions I am photographing at the time, generally 2 weeks, but can be up to 4 weeks. Sometimes I can edit and get photos to you within 1 week.

What’s the online gallery / mobile app?

To deliver your photos to you I have an online gallery and mobile app where you can view, share and download your photos. The gallery works in most browsers and can be found on my website under the client log in area. I will send you a link to use the mobile app (iOS and Android) to view your photos on your smartphone or tablet.

To download you will receive a PIN by email that can be used on your computer to download the hi-res photos.
